Nunchaku Introduction

What's Nunchaku
During 13th or 14th century, Japanese were very interested in the martial arts brought in by emigrant Chinese who settled down on an island close to Japan, in the city of Kumemura (久米村). One of the martial arts being learnt was the used of weapon which was called "Shuang tse" and "Shuang Chin Kun". Techniques and methods were later adopted and adapted to their own Japanese interpretations. After that, Japanese changed the name of the weapon and started calling it the “Nunchaku”.

During the period of 1970-1974, Nunchaku was brought famous by a legendary Kung Fu hero name Bruce Lee. Since then, Nunchaku became an extremely popular and highly demanding martial arts around the world until the 21st century.
